Colin Burrows - The King's Speech

We went to see the King's Speech in the Art Picture House in Cambridge. Colin Burrows from the Special Treats Productions company was there as a guest speaker.

The King's Speech - Directed by Tom Hooper - 2010

I definitely wanted to watch this film and I have been enchanted. I love period films and Colin Firth so the mix of the two would be just perfect. The story is very moving. The film and Colin Firth definitely deserve the oscar nominations it has been up for.

Colin Burrows talked about promotion and marketing of different productions such as Cemetery Junction, Never Let Me Go and the James Bond film called Casino Royale

Cemetery Junction - Directed by Ricky Gervais & Stephen Merchant - 2010

Never Let Me Go - Directed by Mark Romanek - 2010

Casino Royale - Directed by Martin Campbell - 2006

How would Colin Burrow promote our film?

We would like Colin Burrow to promote Mademoiselle Alix through the creation of a poster. A trailer would also be needed, which would be watched in art-house cinemas in order to catch the attention of a special audience. He could also organise a Premiere with journalists and reviewers in order to give media coverage to our product. Director, producer and actors would be present during the Premiere, to whom the public could ask questions. Colin Burrows could also create a website for our film. Our audience would then get places for the Premiere on this website. We thought about the idea of attracting the audience to the Premiere by offering them a special edition on DVD of our film with some bonus such as interviews, making-of...
